I would say Green was hit with a “Tarver Punch”, but since Green has been a bum for the majority of his career, anything less than him getting KOed would have been a surprise.

The amazing thing is Green knocked down Kessler in the 1st round. It was a flash knockdown, but it was solid punch and gave Green early lead on scorecards.

But in typical Green fashion he folded and was hit with a perfect left hook that sent him straight to the canvas.

There was some concern for Green because his head bounced off the canvas, but he appears to be ok.
