Despite Being Knockdown Down Roy Jones Wins Split Decision Over Pawel Glazewski

Most of you had probably forgot that Roy Jones was fighting today and for good reason. The fight was in Poland and not on any networks in the US.

His opponent was a late replacement and to be honest no one cared about the fight.

Roy looked predictably terrible against an opponent that he would have destroyed in his prime. Glazewski dropped Jones in the 6th and while not being impressive himself was the much more aggressive and busier fighter.

Roy looked old and slow, mainly because he is old and slow. He was in survival mode for most of the fight especially after the knockdown, but was given a gift decision.

The scores were 95-94 for Glazewski and 96-93 and 96-94 for Jones

The sad thing is that this probably means Jones will fight again.
