After being waived by the Bucs, Briscoe was released Thursday and soon after the Redskins claimed Briscoe off of waivers on Friday. Redskins wasted no time. Briscoe had 35 catches for 387 yards and lead the Bucs in 6 touchdowns. Briscoe missed camp and offseason workouts, which I’m sure contributed to his release from the team.
Also a little funny fact former Buccaneers coach Raheem Morris is now the Defensive Backs coach for the Redskins, I wonder if Morris had anything to do with Briscoe…
