I need you to follow along with the story based on info from The Daily Mail. Keep an open mind and then tell me who you believe.

Chris Evans is a 24-year-old swim coach. Some of the people he teaches are young girls under the age of 15. One day Evans claims he was trying to send his girlfriend an invitation to come over and have sex. He sent the invitation in graphic terms.

One problem though, besides sending the text to his girlfriend he also sent it to everyone in his address book.

Two of the girls in his address book were 13 and 14 years old. They contacted authorities, Evans was arrested and spent the last 18 months in jail.

His lawyers filed an appeal and won based on the fact the message was sent to everyone in his address book including members of Evans’ family. They also blamed Blackberry for not having a fail safe in place to make sure that doesn’t happen.

The only thing I would want to know is why Evans had the kid’s phone numbers in his blackberry, beyond that I tend to believe his side of the story.

What do you think?

Well, to be fair, if it was sent using the blackberry messenger, he would have their direct calling number, but rather there Blackberry Pins, like their BB ID’s they usualy look somthing like this: 21AD1234.

So chances are he never had their numbers.
