The Raptors lost the Cavs last night and are down 0-2 in their eastern conference semifinal playoff series. Raptors star DeMar DeRozan was asked about LeBron post game and a clearly frustrated DeRozan said it is hard to stop the 4X league MVP. He went so far as to offer money to the reporter asking the question, if he (reporter) could find anyone to stop LeBron.
According to ESPN, DeRozan said:
If you can find somebody to stop LeBron in these moments. I’ll give you $100…With LeBron back there, playing like a free safety, you have to make the right pass. He does a great job of taking the paint and also getting to our shooters at the same time.
No shock there DeMar. LeBron is LeBron and he’s going to do what he does. But if he’s looking for help, that offer needs to be more than $100. In all seriousness, the Raptors can’t let guys like Frye, and Deron Williams beat them.
