Baltimore legend and two-time player of the year in basketball, Aquille Carr has the left the city to play his final season of high school basketball in Florida.
Dime Magazine via the Baltimore Sun is reporting that Carr has transferred to Arlington Day Country School, a private basketball power in Jacksonville.
Carr is reportedly leaving Baltimore to try to excel in a new environment.
As we reported before, Carr was arrested in August, and charged with battery on his much older baby mother.
Baltimore city prosecutors said they would drop the charges on Carr if he completed 22-week program at the House of Ruth.
Carr’s mother Tammy was unavailable for comment.
Carr is still considered a top 100 talent and a Seton Hall commit.
