Fans Start Petition For President Obama to Pardon The Ohio State Buckeyes

I am Robert Littal and I approve this message courtesy of SI Hot Clicks. For full disclosure I am an Alum of The Ohio State University.

I am going to sign this petition and you should as well. I am going to hit Obama with a text and cash in my gift that Romney said the President promised to all minorities.

Here is what the petition says.

The Ohio State University football team is one win away from an undefeated season. However, due to imposed sanctions, they are not allowed to participate in their conference’s championship game or the following bowl season. While a punishment for past indiscretions is to be expected, a bowl season ban is too harsh for a few young men trading memorabilia for tattoos and some change. The offending players and coach who covered it up are no longer part of the program. Please exercise your executive power to pardon the NCAA’s excessive sanctions placed on The Ohio State Buckeyes to enable a rightful, satisfying culmination to the college football season for the American people.

  • you failed to mention that the coach REPEATEDLY LIED to the NCAA and the administration would have kept him on if they were not covering their own butts. Relax, OSU will run the tables next year in a weak conference that is only getting weaker with the addition of Maryland and Rutgers. The Big 10 will be the Big East someday.

  • Sets a terrible precedent….if you’re pardoning one school’s sanctions you better be pardoning them all. Not to mention the pres/govt don’t need to be sticking their noses in ares that are none of their damn business.

  • Even if I like the idea, lets remember that the bowl ban was put in place by Ohio State and the NCAA accepted the self imposed sanction. I would have wished that they just banned thmselves from last year’s bowl game and then we would be in the hunt his year.

    • umm no… wrong.. ohio state put in its own sanctions hoping they wouldnt get a bowl ban and yet still they got one anyways.. they did not ban them selves from a bowl..

  • Hello just wanted to give you a quick heads up. The words inside your article seem to be running off the screen in Opera. I’m not certain if this is a formatting problem or something to do with browser compatibility but I figured I’d post to let you know. The style and style look excellent though! Hope you get the issue resolved soon. Cheers
