Baylor running back Lache Seastrunk is a pretty good running back, and burst onto the scene late this season for the tune of 115 carries, 874 yards, and 6 touchdowns.
Seastrunk is a transfer from Oregon who obviously took a look at that crowded Ducks backfield and felt the need to return home to Texas.
Seastrunk is feeling himself right now, and extremely confident coming off his late season surge. Seastrunk is so confident according to ESPN Dallas that he has a message for everyone in college football next season.
Lache Seastrunk says he’s going to “win the Heisman Trophy” next season.
“I’m going to win the Heisman. I’m going to win it in 2013,” Seastrunk told the Sporting News this week. “If I don’t, I’m going to get very close. I’m shooting for that goal. I will gladly say it.
“I feel like there’s no back who can do what I do,” he told the Sporting News. “I know I’m the fastest back in the country. I know I’m the best back in the country. Nobody’s going to work harder.”
Seastrunk is at the heart of the recruiting investigation that could land Oregon on probation.
