D.C. May Trade FBI for Redskins to Get Skins’ Back From Maryland Suburbs

by Al Bruce | Posted on Saturday, December 8th, 2012

Call it the “RGIII effect”.  Per NBC 4 in Washington (courtesy of FoxSports),  Washington D.C. city officials would support the FBI moving headquarters out of D.C. and into Prince George’s County if PG County officials would allow the Redskins to vacate their lease at FedEx Field and move back into D.C. city limits.

The Redskins currently play home games at FedEx Field in Landover, Maryland, and their lease at the stadium runs through 2027.   NBC 4 stressed that the idea is only a proposal that is being discussed privately at this point.
