While sitting down for a recent interview with the Kelce brothers, Joe Burrow made some inflammatory remarks regarding the Chiefs. During the inaugural New Heights Podcast Live Show at UC, the quarterback for the Bengals made some newsworthy remarks. Burrow’s video discussing the current Super Bowl champions, who are going for a three-peat, went viral on social media even though the entire show hasn’t been released yet.
Burrow responded as follows to a question concerning the Bengals and Chiefs‘ enduring rivalry:
“We both work really hard at what we do. They got great players, we’ve got great players. I think we match up pretty well with them. We’re kind of built to beat them.”
Quickly becoming viral, Joe Burrow’s remarks swept over the internet.
In addition, rumors circulated that the New Heights team planned to release the entire live performance, which meant that the NFL community would hear and analyze the remarks on a regular basis. Nick Wright is prepared with a flurry of remarks on what Joe Burrow said before that happens.
Nick Wright, a devoted Kansas City Chiefs fan and frequent participant in the Super Bowl parade, thinks the Bengals’ design makes them an underdog against the Chiefs. Perhaps they ought to consider something closer to home. According to Wright,
“Is it maybe a mistake? Is building your team around beating the Chiefs (a mistake)? Why? Since Burrow’s gotten there, you are nine and fifteen in your own division. Maybe worry about your own backyard first before you start glazing over the neighbors.”
