KENS 5 in San Antonio is reporting that two Texas Longhorn football players have been accused by a Texas Tech student of sexual assault in a San Antonio hotel.
This accusation comes just one day before the Longhorns take the field in the Alamo Bowl against Oregon State. According to the station the women says she met the two players while out partying, and invited them back to her Holiday Inn hotel room where they sexually assaulted her.
Police were called at 2:48 a.m. Friday to the Holiday Inn Riverwalk in the 200 block of North St. Mary.
Team officials have been notified and the players in question had initial talks with police and will be questioned sexual assault detectives today.
The two players accused of the assault have been suspended and sent home by head coach Mack Brown.
