With new head coach Chip Kelly in the Eagles franchise, there is a lot of interest surrounding how Kelly’s fast-paced offense will translate to the NFL.
The mark of a Chip Kelly offense at Oregon was speed, speed, and more speed. Things that he will have to utilize to be successful at the highest level. With guys such as receiver DeSean Jackson at his disposal, Kelly already has some great weapons.
DeSean himself recently let it be known on what he expects his role to be in the brand new offense.
“Kind of similar to what De’Anthony Thomas was doing at Oregon. He’s like a little brother to me. I actually talked to him,” Jackson said, via Jeff McLane of the Philadelphia Inquirer.
“He was passing on information to me, like I’m going to be pumped up and psyched to be in that offense. It just keeps defenses off guard any time you go in motion, fake play-action, go down the field. There’s just so many things you can do.”
Has to exciting for Eagles fans to envision DeSean being used as Oregon did with De’Anthony Thomas.
We’ll have to see what quarterback will be getting the ball to him though.
