Could a bowling ball be making its way into the Dunk Contest this weekend?
From the Denver Post, while the NBA Dunk contest isn’t on his mind fully just yet, Kenneth Faried might be using a bowling ball in his dunk, which will make jumping over a car look like a breeze.
“I thought about that, but I haven’t practiced it or anything. I really don’t know if I’m going to do it or not. I don’t want to end up injured from a dunk contest.”
“I thought I might be chosen for it,” Faried said. “I wasn’t really a big deal, but I’m excited to showcase my jumping ability and my creativity.”
But with two more games lined up, his focus is on Nugget Basketball.
“It’s not really a big issue right now,” Faried said. “I’m more worried about games than I am about dunks. That’s all I’m focused on. We’ve got these road games, that’s more important than my dunk contest. I want to win these road games, and I’ll get my focus on that when I get to All-Star.”
If Faried can dunk a bowling ball and completes it, ESPN will have that in their top 10 for the rest of the year.
