Olympics Day 6 - Judo

Some people should really travel with a portable filter before speaking out to the public. A lot of people are confused and upset that wrestling is being removed from the Olympics. One person in particular who was upset by the new ruling was Vladimir Uruimagov, a coach for a Russian wrestling team, according to Outsports.com.

“If they expel wrestling now, that means that gays will soon run the whole world,” coach Vladimir Uruimagov said, calling the decision “a blow to masculine origins.”

“It turns out this committee is headed by representative of these minorities,” clarifying that he meant sexual minorities.

Now that wrestling is gone the gays will run the world! Interesting concept. However, I would expect gay men to actually want to partake in wrestling. What other sport do you know were you can wear a spandex outfit and rub and grab at the same sex? I guess you shouldn’t hold your breathe if you were hoping to see Uruimagov coaching during the Gay Games. Yes the Gay Games are an actual event, and wrestling has been a major part since 1982. Fun fact for the day.
