For years Eagles fans and pundits have complained about the teams lack of height on the outside and in the red zone area. Chip Kelly and his new staff are hoping to change that.
The Star Ledger is reporting that the Eagles have just signed 6-foot-7 wide receiver Ifeanyi Momah to a three-year deal. Momah was out of football last season while recovering from a knee injury he suffered in 2011 at Boston College.
The 23-year-old wide receiver was hurt after a monster in the Boston College’s 2011 season opener in which he caught eight passes for 157 yards.
He finished his college career with 39 receptions for 629 yards and six touchdowns, and was denied a sixth year of eligibility by the NCAA in 2012.
The 239 Momah has experience playing on the defensive side of the ball also, as he played defensive end in high school and at Boston College.
