Jack Edwards

It seems like Boston Bruins announcer Jack Edwards, got a little carried away after Patrice Bergeron scored the winning goal in overtime that sent the Toronto Maple Leafs crashing out of the NHL Playoffs on Monday night.

According to Boston.com, Edwards couldn’t contain his excitement after the goal and is seen making thrusting and stabbing motions while making the call.

“With the point of the dagger at their throats, they rip it out of Toronto’s hands and kill the beast.”

Referring to the Maple Leafs as beasts that needed slaying is a bit over dramatic but it was a pretty epic comeback by the Bruins.
