2026 BSO NBA Mock Draft: A Class That Could Reshape the League

The 2026 NBA Draft is shaping up to be one of the most intriguing classes in recent memory. While much of the attention has focused on the star quartet of Darryn Peterson, AJ Dybantsa, Cameron Boozer, and Caleb Wilson, NBA executives believe the depth of this class could ultimately be what separates it from recent drafts.

From franchise changing stars at the top to high upside developmental prospects in the back half of the first round, teams throughout the league will have an opportunity to add impactful talent. If you are a believer in what most scouts, executives, etc. say, this could be the best draft class in a really long time.

It is deep with talent at every position and all kinds of skills sets. Potentially franchise changing wings and guards and team altering big men. This draft class has everything a team could possibly need from top to bottom.

With draft night rapidly approaching, here’s a complete breakdown of all 30 projected first-round picks, including their measurements, strengths, and why each player makes sense for their projected team.

1. Washington Wizards — Darryn Peterson | Kansas

Peterson is widely viewed as one of the most complete guard prospects to enter the draft in years. He can score at all three levels, create for teammates, and defend multiple positions.


2. Utah Jazz — AJ Dybantsa | BYU

Dybantsa possesses elite athleticism, size, and scoring ability. His ceiling as a two-way superstar is as high as anyone in the class.


3. Memphis Grizzlies — Cameron Boozer | Duke

Wagler has emerged as one of the biggest risers thanks to his shooting, versatility, and size.


7. Sacramento Kings — Mikel Brown Jr. | Louisville

The beauty of the NBA Draft is that every front office sees the board differently. Some teams will prioritize upside, while others will focus on immediate contributors. If this mock unfolds anywhere close to reality, several franchises could walk away with cornerstone players, while others may find the steals that define this draft class years down the road.
