Blaylock hasn’t spoken with authorities, but they have decided to charge him based on the information they currently have available.
Former NBA star Mookie Blaylock faces second degree vehicular homicide among other charges for Friday’s traffic accident in which his SUV crossed a median and killed a woman passenger in another vehicle.
Jonesboro, Ga., police investigators and the Clayton County (Ga.) prosecutor met Monday and also charged Blaylock with driving under a suspended license, improper lane change, crossing the median and driving on the wrong side of the road.
Blaylock won’t speak to authorities until his lawyer is present.
