The face of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers defense admitted that the team’s recent outbreak of MRSA has hurt the team on the field, and was a distraction in their 31-20 loss to the Eagles according to ESPN.com.
“Coming back from the bye and trying to get prepared for Philly, it was a big distraction,” cornerback Darrelle Revis said after Sunday’s 31-20 loss to the Eagles.
“Our minds were on starting fresh and getting back into the football mode coming off the bye and then we had to deal with this,” Revis said.
Mr. Revis might want to offer an answer for why he looked so uninspired at times going against DeSean Jackson.
