As LeBron James continues to rack up championships and accolades, he’s also relaxing and opening up more.
James opened up about a lot of different things during an upcoming ESPN The Magazine feature and it revealed several things people may not have known.
During a segment of the interview, James was asked about his mental approach to the game and his perceived weaknesses. King Jame’s answers were very revealing.
Do you ever battle a fear of failure?
That’s one of my biggest obstacles. I’m afraid of failure. I want to succeed so bad that I become afraid of failing.
How do you deal with it — how do you overcome it?
Just win [laughs]. Keep winning and I don’t have to worry about it. Keep winning.
At the end of the day, just keep playing was all James really could do as he struggled for 8 years to get over the hump.
