The season isn’t getting any better for the Illinois football program or their coaches for that matter. Besides allowing the Buckeyes to score 60 points today, SB Nation caught the head coach Tim Beckman and the offensive coordinator Bill Cubit seem to lose control and were fighting to the point where it almost became physical.
The Illini athletic department made the decision to fire Ron Zook and his coaching staff after a winning season that included back to back years of winning bowl games. They might want to reconsider their decision, since Beckham has not won a single Big Ten game in his two year tenure and has set an Illinois record for the longest losing streak with 19 straight losses in the Big Ten. Ouch!
