The Seattle Seahawks released Cox on Wednesday, less than 24 hours after signing him on Tuesday.
Cox was supposed to add some depth to their depleted secondary, but Seattle quicky decided he wasn’t the answer, and decided to go a different route.

The Seahawks are of course short handed with Brandon Browner facing a one year ban, and Walter Thurmond suspended for four games as well.
Cox was released by the 49ers on Nov. 12 after spending two seasons in San Francisco.
