The biggest question from Antrel Rolle ripping the Giants offense is did he really mean to rip the entire offense, or was he simply taking a shot at his quarterback?
After watching Manning throw a career high five interceptions, Giants safety Antrel Rolle lit into his defense during his post game presser.
After Tom Coughlin called the performance pathetic, Rolle was even harsher, questioning the effort and passion of those on offense according to the New York Post.
“If you don’t have passion about this game you don’t need to be out there on the field,” Rolle said, adding, “Sometimes out there it looked like we didn’t have a pulse.’’
And yes, Rolle made it clear he wasn’t talking about his defensive unit.
“You all saw the game,’’ Rolle said. “I don’t have to say anything. This is not about pointing fingers, it’s not about tit for tat, but it is what it is. If you saw the same you know exactly what you saw.’’
Rolle curiously didn’t name any names, which led to Giants tight end Brandon Myers taking to Twitter to stick up for himself.
“If ppl on this team wanna take shots at me and say I have no passion they are mistaken. I give everything I have each and every week.’’
Myers later tweeted, “My emotions got the best of me.”
