I think at times athletes assume everyone on social media will kiss their ass and worship them, but we know that isn’t the case.
There are trolls, evil human beings and irrational fans all over social media. You just have to take the good with the bad or don’t get online. Lashing out, rarely hurts the anonymous troll, but more so yourself. Doesn’t even matter what you say, by acknowledging the trolling, you have already lost the battle.
Torrey Smith would have been best served just ignoring whatever the fantasy owners were saying about him.
