If Mike Pettine really wants to succeed, he’ll get a quality offensive coordinator.
It’s seems he may have read my mind.
Ian Rapoport is reporting that the team has interest in former Texans head coach Gary Kubiak as their offensive coordinator. Kubiak was fired by the Texans during the 2013 season and interviewed with the Lions before they hired Jim Caldwell as their new head coach.
Hear there’s interest in Gary Kubiak for #Browns OC job. Would make sense, given team’s FA love for RB Ben Tate, who’d be in the same system

A hire like Kubiak at offensive coordinator would allow Pettine to hit the ground running. It also might give the Browns a leg up when Ben Tate hits free agency.
