I’ve heard of roster turnover and change, but this would be epic.
The Dolphins are a mess as an organiztion, and the changes will start where the mess began in the first place. The Miami Herald is reporting that Dolphins may start the 2014 season with a whole new offensive line.
That’s right, five new starters.
Of course the two main sources of the issues, Richie Incognito and Johnathan Martin will certainly not return to the team. Mike Pouncey could open the season under suspension because of his involvement in the bullying scandal, and his possible involvement with Aaron Hernandez.
Bryant McKinnie, who replaced Martin at left tackle last season, is a free agent. Tyson Clabo, who started 15 games at right tackle last season, is also a free agent. There’s a good chance that both McKinnie and Clabo will leave Miami in the off-season.
Guard John Jerry is in the final weeks of his contract as well.
