Next Winter Olympics Host is the Best at Finishing Last

If you look at this year’s Winter Olympics, Russia led everyone with 13 gold medals, 11 silver medals and 19 bronze medals, which equals 33 total points. As a host, they put forth a lot of effort, well at least in competition…government protection and so forth is another story.

However, the 2018 Winter Olympics host is far from dominating. South Korean Olympians have finished in the bottom three places in 19 different events; this is more than any of the other countries’ last place finishes. Well, they have four more years to get that in order before they host the next Winter Olympics. South Korea cannot be a consistent losing team.
