Are the days of the high profile football agent about to come to an end?
Ian Rapoport and Mike Garafalo are reporting that Detroit Lions star defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh is considering negotiating his own extension with the Detroit Lions.
One other guy toying w/ idea of representing himself (with some guidance from others, including Roc Nation) is Ndamukong Suh. We'll see.

Interesting Bernard Pollard negotiated his own deal, per @jwyattsports. Ndamukong Suh considering doing the same. A new (troubling) trend?

This comes on the heels of Jim Wyatt reporting that Titans safety Bernard Pollard renegotiated his contract with the Titans without the help of an agent.
Safety Bernard Pollard negotiated his own two-year deal with the #Titans. Used agent Eugene Parker on previous contract

Suh is reported leaning towards having Roc Nation and Jay Z handle his off the field dealings, while also advising him on his football contract.
Suh is not an agent or lawyer, and reports say the Lions would prefer he not handle the contract negotiations alone.
