Walter Thurmond is now a member of the New York Giants and it looks like he brought some of the Seahawks bravado right along with him.
As the Giants kicked off the start of their OTA’s, Thurmond let it be known that Giants have a chance to have a really great secondary and”he was the best slot cornerback in the league.”
More from CB Walt Thurmond: "I'm the best slot corner in the league." … Looks like @RSherman_25 rubbed off on him a little last year.

Thurmond isn’t comparing himself to the Richard Sherman’s or Patrick Peterson’s of the league. He believes that he’s the top cover in the league when it comes to handling inside/slot receivers.
Thurmond would be included in a list of cover guys like Tyrann Mathieu (Cardinals), Brandon Boykin (Eagles), Chris Harris (Broncos), Captain Munnerlyn (Vikings) and Orlando Scandrick (Cowboys).
Thurmond went on to say that the Giants could have the best secondary in the league as well.
“We have the potential to be the best secondary in the league,” he said.
