Wisconsin Head Coach Bo Ryan is probably somewhere smiling right now. The Badgers will get big man Frank Kaminsky back for next season. Here is what he told Jeff Goodman:
“It was a tough decision, but I think the best thing for me is to stay another year and develop even more. I made a commitment to the school and I don’t think I can turn my back on the people who have been there for me.”
Kaminsky made a big leap this season from 4.2 points and 1.8 rebounds per game to 13.9 and 6.3 and is an intriguing NBA prospect. I hope he doesn’t end up like Mitch McGary though, who left a lot of money on the table by not striking while the iron was hot.
