Is it possible that Jameis Winston could hold off on leaving for the NFL after this season to return for his (redshirt) Junior year?

Acorrding to his dad, that has been the plan all along. His father, Antonor Winston had this to say in a story on AL.com:

“We want Jameis to succeed with one more year in baseball and two more years in football,” Antonor Winston said.  “We’ve never strayed from our plan that he is going to be in college until he gets that degree.”

Jameis’ dad went on to clarify that Jameis will play three years of football, so that he would graduate. Jameis was accepted into Stanford out of High School and came to college as a pre-med student but has since changed to Engineering. I can see him doing this, but depending on the QB’s that come out after this season it might be wise to come out, be a top 5 pick, then go back to FSU to finish that degree.

Either way, it’s his decision to make.
