We all know that Kobe Bryant and Smush Parker didn’t have the best relationship during Parker’s two years in LA. Most of this is rooted in the fact that Kobe didn’t think Smush was any good. It then got worse after Smush left when he said it was an overrated experience playing with Kobe.
Now Smush is speaking out a bit more about what his experience was like:
He told me one day at practice – I tried to talk to him outside of basketball, about football. And he looked at me in practice and was dead serious and said, ‘You can’t talk to me. You need more accolades under your belt before you come talk to me.”
