After appealing the ruling that stated he should be franchised as a tight end and not a wide receiver, Jimmy Graham is set to become the NFL’s highest paid tight end.
The Jimmy Graham appeal @RapSheet mentioned is in lieu of a long-term deal by tomorrow. Source says sides are closing in on one, though.

The two sides have until 4 p.m. ET Tuesday to reach a long-term deal or Graham must sign his tender.
The multiyear deal is expected to eclipse the $9 million per season New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski earns.
