Ever since Carmelo Anthony hit free agency, there have been two schools of thought on how he would make his opinion. Either a) he’ll stay in New York and take the money because obviously, or b) he’ll sacrifice over $30 million and head to a contender who gives him the best chance of winning.
According to Marc Stein of ESPN, teams recruiting Melo believe he is leaning towards option A and heading back to the Knicks for all the money.
Pessimism among some of Melo's suitors, I'm told, is undoubtedly rising about having any hope of getting Melo away from Knicks

There are two ways to look at this, either you’re surprised, or it’s pretty much what you expected all along.
Personally, I feel like the Bulls have always been the best fit for Melo. A team that has nothing but defenders in need of a guy who does nothing but scores, it’s literally a perfect match.
As is always the case around this time, reports are conflicting and nothing should be accepted as fact until someone signs a contract.
