DeSean Jackson was forced to leave Sunday’s contest a lot sooner than scheduled. The explosive receiver bruised his shoulder against Jacksonville, after hauling in only one catch.
This week, Washington is traveling to Philadelphia, which would be the return of Jackson, but that’s only if he’s able to play through pain.
“He’ll be day-to-day,” Gruden said. “Depending on if he can play with the pain, he’ll be good to go for Sunday. But we’ll have a better idea Thursday or Friday where he is.”
Knowing the competitor that DeSean is, he’s going to try his hardest to get out on the field Sunday.
