Who knows what the future holds for Derek Jeter, but whatever he decides to do, he’ll have his fair share of options. Many speculate that the most likely post retirement career path to embark on is to be a manager–with those leadership skills, who could argue?
Apparently Yankees current skipper, Joe Girardi, wanted to prep Jeter for the role and offered him a chance to get started for what will be the final game of his career.
Girardi has offered Jeter the opportunity to manage the team on Sunday, Jeter didn’t seem interested.
