It seems like Kobe is already beginning preparations for his post-NBA career as a report courtesy Bleacher Report via the Los Angeles Times, has him linked to the sale of a second-division Italian soccer team.
The Los Angeles Lakers guard has been linked to a group attempting to buy Italian club Bologna FC 1909 of Serie B, according to La Gazetta via Los Angeles Times’ Eric Pincus.
Per the report, the group is headed by well-known attorney Joe Tacopina and also includes Joey Saputo, owner of the MLS’ Montreal Impact—so Bryant isn’t the only one presumably with deep pockets in on the potential purchase.
It’s a well known fact that Kobe is a fan of the beautiful game and that he has roots in Italy so the connection makes sense. Kobe gotta do something with all that money the Lakers are paying him.
