After reopening the quarterback battle during the bye week leading up the game against ULM, Texas A&M has turned over the starting quarterback to true freshmen Kyle Allen.
CBS 11 Sports has learned that #TexasA&M will change starting QB’s. Kenny Hill is out. Kyle Allen is in.

It was too long ago that Kenny Hill was being touted as the next big thing in college football. After a three game losing streak and a blowout loss to Alabama, Kenny Hill is grabbing some pine. I’m not sure how this will turn out for A&M, a true freshmen quarterback will definitely take his fair share of lumps, but he may have more upside in the long term as a passer.
