Jimmy Butler by far is having a great season he is averaging 21.6 points, 5.6 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 1.5 steals a game this season. Butler may be able to contribute those stats to his extreme off season training over the summer spending 13 hours a day doing yoga, running, skill work, weight training and Pilates. He even spent the summer without internet and cable. Butler told SI.com’s Ben Golliver of his off season program.
“I wanted to be so good at the game that we didn’t have cable, we didn’t have the Internet. Whenever we got bored, all we would do is go to the gym. We’d eat, sleep and go to the gym. We’d go three times a day because we didn’t have anything else to do. We were sitting on the couch, looking at each other, saying, ‘What the hell are we going to do all day?’”
My trainer @johnson_chris5 and I after some work. He need to hit a treadmill. HELLO TEN!
