Kobe Bryant passed Michael Jordan on the all-time points list. That was last game though and tonight the Lakers face a bad Pacers team. The Lakers managed to look extra horrible though in the first half and if you don’t believe me check out this first half shot chart for the Lakers.
The Lakers made 7 field goals total in the first half and missed 36 shots. This is another level of awful that the Lakers haven’t seen in a long time. At halftime, they trailed the Pacers by 33 points. That was the largest halftime deficit since the Lakers moved to LA in 1960. The Lakers came out in the second half and made it respectable as they ended up losing the game by “only” 19 points. Kobe scored 21 points off 8 for 26 shooting. Kobe was 3 of 10 in the horrid first half.
