Nets Superfan Jeffrey Gamblero jumped out of a two-story building at his fathers apartment in Queens. The Nets fan was usually seen in bright colors and dancing at Nets games.
You may remember Jeffrey Gamblero when we reported recently that he had been carried out of a Nets vs Knicks game in Madison Square Garden. Kristi Evans, Jeffrey’s fiancee, spoke to the New York Times and put blame on that incident as a turning point for him.

“After that, he was a completely different person,” Evans told the Times. “He was paranoid. He was erratic. He was frightened. He was horrified. He was a bit delusional. He was having a lot of trouble sleeping. He couldn’t sleep at all. When he would sleep, or try to sleep, it would only take about 10 or 15 minutes before he would jump up screaming covered in sweat.”
Gamblero, whose given name was Jeffrey Vanchiro, was a graffiti artist who also made a living as a professional poker player for a time but had shifted back to the art scene. The incident at MSG where he was carried away by security for “unruly behavior” will now be focused on as Evans states he suffered some sort of head injury from it.
