After interviewing Will Muschamp last week and raising a few eyebrows, the University of Houston is expected to hire Ohio State offensive coordinator Tom Herman.

While I was intrigued by Will Muschamp going to Houston, Tom Herman is a hand in glove fit for the Cougars and their trend of hiring offensive minded coaches. Herman did an outstanding job this year with RS-Freshmen JT Barrett after Braxton Miller went down to an injury early on and I expect him to get the Cougars back on the right track. Herman has extensive coaching experience in Texas, so he knows the landscape and that will help immensely in recruiting.
