Newly added Cleveland Cavs player J.R. Smith speaks on the New York Knicks and how the first part of the season felt.
I never took J.R. as one to hold his breath but it looks like he had a lot on his mind while playing for the Knicks during what looks to be the worst season in franchise history.
“Everybody in the building was pretty much walking on eggshells, so it was kind of hard to prosper in that way, especially when you are not accustomed to it,” Smith told Kevin Kernan of The New York Post on Wednesday.”
Smith goes on to say that he’s sure they’ll get it right eventually.
According to The Score, when asked about Smith’s comment, Knicks coach Derek Frisher responded with “We’ve been very frank how we’re learning together……whether that’s eggshells or whether that’s trying to learn how to win, it depends on the person you’re talking to.”
J.R. might want to worry about the Cavs instead on his thoughts on the Knicks because he even admitted that he doesn’t know the playbook and was 0-5 in the team’s loss against the Houston Rockets last night.
