I don’t think we’ll be seeing Roger Goodell at any Kraft family gatherings anytime soon.
The Patriots landed in Arizona and faced the Super Bowl media for the first time. The us against the world mentally was on full display with Robert Kraft firing the first salvo.
Kraft appealed for the public to listen to facts, not “media leaks.” Kraft said he has seen nothing but integrity from Belichick and quarterback Tom Brady over the 15 years they’ve worked together.
He also blamed “media leaks” for what he called a one-sided conversation about the controversy. Kraft then aggressively demanded an apology upon being acquitted of all accusations.
“If the Wells investigation is not able to definitively determine that our organization tampered with the air pressure in the footballs, I would expect and hope that the league would apologize would apologize to our entire team, and in particular Coach Belichick and Tom Brady, for what they have had to endure this week.”
