For the third straight season in the Peyton Manning era, the Denver Broncos have come up short.
Despite not being able to deliver the Vince Lombardi trophy back to the Mile High City, head coach John Fox’s job security is in no harm.
“I’ve seen all kind of reports in the past, I’m sure I’ll see some moving forward. I don’t make those decisions, I don’t control that,” Fox told reporters after the game. “My intentions are to be a Denver Bronco and have been since I got here. It’s not about me; it’s about this football team.”
Denver will give it another shot next year, but it all depends on Peyton. There’s a possibility the future hall of famer has already thrown his last pass.
