So, you want to go to Vegas for Mayweather-Pacquiao. The MGM Grand is the place to be because that is where the fight is happening and it is one of the marquee hotels in Las Vegas. You want to be close to the action, but you don’t want to be IN THE ACTION. You want a little space, you want a quieter setting and you a professional well run beautiful hotel. Where do you go?
You go where I always go the MGM SIGNATURE.
I discovered The Signature when a media friend in the industry recommended it to me. I had stayed all over Vegas covering fights and never felt blown away by any place. Everything was ok, but always had some downside. There is no downside to The Signature only upside.
The first thing you should know is that it is connected to the MGM, so you don’t even have to go outside to get from the Signature to the MGM, so you are a mere 2-3 minute walk from all the action. Check in and check out is super quick, valet is amazingly efficient and the staff are top notch. When you are in the media like myself being able to get things done quickly is very important. No one wants to wait 30 mins to check into a hotel, for a cab or valet. Everything is done super fast at The Signature.
Then there are the rooms which I think are the best in Vegas. Every room is a suite, has a balcony, spa tub and spectacular views. The pricing for these suites are normally much less than a regular room at any of the marquee hotels in Vegas. You have access to all the MGM Pools and Spa. Everything about the hotel is top notch and I haven’t stayed anywhere else in Vegas over the last three years.
Rooms are still available now for Mayweather-Pacquiao weekend, you can complete your reservation here. Trust me you won’t regret it.
