Could the Indianapolis Colts be set on finding Andrew Luck the ultimate outside weapon?
With retirement a real possibility for Colts 14-year veteran — Reggie Wayne — Bleacher Report’s Jason Cole reports that the Colts will be looking to replace him as their No. 2 receiver behind TY Hilton. Their top target could be Brandon Marshall.
“The guy who fits the mold for them the best in terms of playing style is likely Brandon Marshall,” Cole said. “He may not be long for Chicago and may be looking for a landing spot, so this might work out best.
“There may be some issues in terms of maturity and whether he’ll handle it, but (the Colts) believe that with Andrew Luck at quarterback they can bring in Marshall and feel safe about that.”
Marshall is owed $7.5 million in base salary in 2015 from the Bears.
