First it was T.I. Next up was 2 Chainz. Now the Atlanta Hawks have provided yet another blockbuster performance series for the city of Atlanta.
On Monday, the Hawks officially announced that Atlanta rapper Ludacris would be next up to take over the Hawks experience.
Ludacris will start the takeover by collaborating with current Atlanta radio host and Hawks PA Announcer Ryan Cameron for the Hawks pregame player introductions. Then Luda will set the stage on fired during halftime. Ludacris will also join the Fox Sports South broadcast in the 3rd quarter to add some color commentary. Ludacris will then perform one final time during a post game concert.
With Atlanta having one of the hottest organist in the league by the name of Sir Foster, the Hawks organist will also be playing instrumental versions of Ludacris’ favorite songs off his new CD “Ludaversal”.
Not only will the the Hawks store being selling Ludacris’ new album, they will also be selling special edition Ludacris shirts.
“As an Atlantan who has supported the Hawks for years, I jumped at the opportunity to collaborate with the organization in a memorable way,” says Ludacris. “This has been an incredible season for the city of Atlanta and the team, and I’m excited take the energy in Philips Arena up a notch for the playoffs.”

The Hawks will take on the Nets for game 2 of the first round playoff series at 7 p.m. at Philips Arena.
