Second year wideout Kelvin Benjamin has suffered his second hamstring injury during OTAs according to Joe Person of the Charlotte Observer.
Benjamin wasn’t on the practice field Wednesday, and will also sit out Thursday’s practice in which the Panthers are hopeful he will be ready for training camp.
The former stand out from Florida State had a terrific rookie season grabbing 73 receptions for 1,008 yards and 9 touchdowns. Benjamin is a big target who has become a huge weapon for quarterback Cam Newton and the Panthers offense.
Hopefully Benjamin returns to full strength before the start of training camp.
