On Thursday night after the Cavs were blown out in game 4 of the NBA finals, LeBron James was asked about the biggest challenge he has faced in his career. James attempted to downplay any notion that game 5 in Oakland could even be conceived as the biggest challenge of his NBA career.
James went back to reference when he was with the Heat and had to overcome beating the Celtics. However, instead of saying the Heat’s franchise name, James alluded to the team in what some felt was a disrespectful way.
Needless to say, there’s some initial outrage in Miami as fans are waking up and realizing what was said. Maybe James meant nothing by it, but it’s all about perception.
